Belinda Northcut Bryant, 62, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, in Jacksonville, Florida. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to so many.

Belinda graduated from Red Bank High School and Edmondson College in Chattanooga. During her professional career she spent over 20 years managing the Jacksonville Partyland stores. Belinda was a member of the Dean Road Church of Christ where she was the resident event planner. No matter the size or type of function, Belinda’s creativity made it a memorable event enjoyed by all. She was generous with her time and talent and always considerate of others. Belinda was an amazing host that loved to cook and entertain. If you attended one of her parties, you left well fed, likely with a gift and the memories of a great time.

Belinda had a special place in her heart for children. If you saw Belinda in church, more than likely she was surrounded by countless little ones. Lovingly referred to as “Bimbe” she passed along the life lessons to many children about doing what’s right, being kind and helping others.

Belinda (fondly known as “Bim” by family) was preceded in death by her father, Leon Northcut.

She is survived by her husband, Gene Bryant; son, Caleb Kitchings and his wife Heather; grandson, Landon Kitchings; mother, Barbara Northcut; sister, Debbie Shepard and her husband Jerry; sister, Jacqueline Northcut; nephew, Joshua Shepard and his wife Brooke; nephew, Trevor Shepard and his wife Melissa; niece, Marissa Barker and her husband Vince; great-nephews: Leon, Jackson, Porter, Deacon, Samuel; great-nieces: Stella and Winnie; grand-dog, Brookie Kitchings. Belinda is also survived by her extended Bryant and Anderson families.

Her graveside service will take place at Chattanooga Memorial Park, 501 Memorial Drive, Chattanooga, Tn. 37415, at the top pavilion on Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mount Dora Children’s Home (https://www.mdchome.org/) are appreciated.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
