Hollie Eades, 29, Struck And Killed On I-75 Wednesday Night

Hollie Eades, 29, was struck and killed Wednesday night on Interstate 75.
 
At approximately 8:05 p.m., a motor vehicle crash occurred involving a pedestrian near the exit ramp for East Brainerd Road from Interstate 75 Southbound. The Chattanooga Police Department's Traffic/DUI Unit responded to the scene.
 
Ms.
Eades had just been involved in a rear end collision on Interstate 75 Southbound and had pulled her car over on the shoulder of the off ramp of East Brainerd. The other vehicle was located on the shoulder of Interstate 75 southbound.
 
Ms. Eades left her vehicle to exchange information with the driver of the other vehicle and upon returning to her car, a separate vehicle, driven by Jennifer Ellis, 31, was taking the East Brainerd Road exit and struck Ms. Eades as she crossed traffic.
 
Hamilton County EMS responded to the scene and transported Ms. Eades to a local hospital where she would succumb to her injuries.
