Betty Ann Clark
Elizabeth Ann (Betty Ann) Callaway Clark, 91, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Friday, December 6, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pope and Camilla Stokely Callaway; and her husband, James L. (Jimmy) Clark, Sr.
Betty Ann graduated from Georgia State College for Women, and then came to Dalton as a school teacher. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Dalton, Daughters of the American Revolution, United Daughters of the Confederacy, and Four Seasons Garden Club.
She is survived by her son, Jim Clark; daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Jon Rackley; grandchildren, Lauren and Trey Miller, Colby and Chelsea Henton, Meral Henton, and Molly and Joe Young; sister-in-law, Lucy Clark; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to thank the staff of The Gardens at Royal Oaks and the staff of Tender Loving Caregivers.
Services for Betty Ann will be held Sunday, Dec. 8, at 5 p.m. in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service Sunday, Dec. 8, from 3:30-5 p.m. in the atrium of the church.
