I have been working with several people about the water backup in our backyard when it rains. I have been told several different things by different people, and no one seems to know what the other one is doing.
One person knew nothing about the Special Machine. We were told this because how else could we find out what they felt needed to be done to stop the water problem in our yard. We have been waiting on the Special Machine for many months.
We were advised they would bring a "special machine" in to dig the ditch wider, and remove the huge amount of dirt that is keeping the water from moving on down to the creek. When it rains the water can not get around the large amount of dirt, and then begins to backup in our backyard.
Each time it rains we live in fear the water backup from the poor drainage, and the "dirt pile" will enter our home. It came really close several times. All we ask is make the ditch wider, and remove the dirt holding the water from flowing to the creek. I don't feel we are asking too much after the many years dealing with water problems from the state, and city.
