Andrea Lovelace Jones, 64, of Chattanooga, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019, in a local hospital.

She was a member of New Emmanuel Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board and Women of Excellence Ministry. She graduated from Howard High School class of 1973 and attended National School of Business in Cleveland. She volunteered for the Foster Grandparent Program.

Andrea was preceded in death by her father, Isaac Brooks; mother, Bettye Robinson; brothers, Reginald “Caveman” Lovelace and Richard Sanders.

Survivors include her grandson, Chauncey Jones of Richmond, Virginia; brothers, Terrence Lovelace of Nashville, Leroy Robinson, III of Richmond, Va., Isaac “Red” Brooks-Sanders of Detroit, Mi., Reginald “Buster” Brooks, William (Wendy) Brooks, both of Chattanooga, Alvin Brooks of Atlanta and Calvin Brooks of Chattanooga; sisters, Regina Smith-Sydnor of Richmond, Va., and Vanessa “Toni” Brooks of Atlanta; uncles, William Lovelace, James Lovelace, and Lydell (Joyce) Lovelace; aunts, Joann McCrary, Diane Mason, Elaine Taylor, Debra Caslin, and Yvonne Hairston; a host of relatives and friends.

She will lie in state on Friday, Feb. 22, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at noon with Pastor Terrance Hannah as the eulogist. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
