Ralph Thomas “R.T.” Cox, 62, of Chattanooga, died on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at his home.

He was born July 6, 1956 to the late Walter E. and Nola Smith Cox.

He was the manager of The Loft Restaurant for many years and was facility manager for VIP Gift. He was an avid NASCAR fan. He attended Red Bank High School.

Survivors include his sisters, Harriett Mabry (Jenks) Parker of Chattanooga, and Judy “J.C.” May Stiles of Hixson; niece, Leslye May of Chattanooga; two aunts, Nell Brown of Hixson, and Monteen Smith of Signal Mountain.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend Carter Paden officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethel Bible Village, 3001 Hamill Road, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
