Chester Arthur Wilson
Chester Arthur Wilson, Jr., age 62, of Dalton, Georgia and formally of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Ridgewood Manor Nursing Home and Rehabilitation.
He was a member of St. John’s A.M.E Church and was preceded in death by his father, Chester Arthur Wilson, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Ernest and Lucille Wilson; and maternal grandparents, Milton and Mattie Moss.
He is survived by his loving mother, Eloise Moss Wilson; special cousins, Mary Morris, Frances Moss Hardson, and Vera Morris; a host of other cousins, relatives and friends; special thanks to the staff of Ridgewood Manor Nursing Home and Rehabilitation.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, Feb. 23, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Peria Baptist Church, 341 Sparks Street, Ringgold, Georgia 30736. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Friday after noon and the family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Interment will be at Ringgold Community Cemetery.
