John Jones

John Wesley Jones, Jr., 76, of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019, in a local health care facility. 

He retired from Vulcan Material Company. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Wesley and Nobia Jones, Sr; daughter, Lisa Clemons; son, Edward Williams.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Vivian Jones of Chattanooga; sons, Michael Jones and Tony Jones, both of Chattanooga; daughters, Wanda Jones of Chattanooga, Donna Clemons of Marietta, Ga., and Tracy Williams of Chattanooga; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; two brothers; nine sisters; a host other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Friday, Feb. 22, from 6-7 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, Feb. 23, at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Dexter Cummings as the eulogist. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
