Cathy Burnette
Cathy Michelle Burnette, 55, passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019, in a Chattanooga health care facility.
As a teenager she volunteered at Bradley Memorial Hospital. She was also an employee of the Bradley County Courthouse. Cathy spent most of her time being a CNA and caring for the patients she loved so much. She loved her family and cherished them so much, especially her daughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tricky Dickie Burnette and Alice Faye Watson Burnette; and daughter, Jessica Nichole Burnette
Survivors include her daughter, Laura Elizabeth Ingram of Athens; son-in-law, Wesley Hill of Athens; unborn granddaughter, Hensley Hill; sister, Melissa Jolene Johnson and husband, Robert Johnson, Jr. of Benton; brothers, Joey (Delinda) Burnette and Nicky (Pam) Burnette, all of Cleveland and Ricky (Kim) Burnette of Charleston; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 17, in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with the Reverend Robert Johnson III officiating. Interment will follow in Red Hill Cemetery with Joey Burnette, Wesley Hill, Robert Johnson, Jr., Ricky Burnette, Dalton Burnette and Nicky Burnette serving as pallbearers.
Her family will receive friends from 1–2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
