Luther Cole, 98, of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at his residence.

He was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired from Combustion Engineering after over 35 years of service. Luther was a life-long member of Greater Friendship Primitive Baptist Church. 

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 52 years, Ollie Cole; sister, Earnestine Common; sisters-in-law, Eliza Edwards and Minnie Cole; a host of nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. 

Visitation is on Thursday, Feb. 21, at 11 a.m. at Greater Friendship Primitive Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at noon with Elder R. Lavon Yates as the eulogist. 

Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
