Tornado Term 2019 Comes To McCallie

  • Monday, February 18, 2019

For a third year, Tornado Term arrived on campus at McCallie School, giving boys an opportunity to learn new skills and explore topics and ideas in new and innovative ways.

Tornado Term 2019 began Monday, Feb. 4, and Upper School students spent almost two weeks throwing themselves into their chosen topics.

Boys built escape rooms and cooked gourmet meals. They learned the history of Southern rock and roll and discovering ways to connect with the Chattanooga community and help others.

As with past Tornado Terms, the boys embraced these new challenges and found new ways of looking at the world around them and new ways of learning outside of the traditional classroom setting, said officials.
