Sue Fletcher Clark, 82, of Fort Oglethorpe, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 17, 2019 in a local healthcare facility. She was a life-long resident of the North Georgia area and was of the Christian faith. Sue was retired from AAA after 10 years of service and attended Lakeview High School where she was the 1951 Homecoming Queen. She enjoyed the beach and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Forrest Clark; brothers, Billy and Buddy Fletcher; and a sister, Jo Quarles.
Survivors include her children, Dicky (Angela) Clark, Roger (Karen) Clark and Brenda (Pete) Summers; grandchildren, Lance (Amanda) Summers, Jennifer Summers, Jessica Clark, Taylor (Mary Claire) Clark, Travis Clark, Kelsey (Chase) Hall, Kristin (Josh) Cole and Kinsey Clark; and great-grandchildren, Landon, Austin, Sophie Rae Summers, Cohen, Kaylin, Ryder, Thatcher, Beckham Hall.
Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home chapel, with Dr. James Sprayberry officiating.
The family will have a private entombment at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
