Mary Lee Hannah Cooke, 99, passed away on Monday, February 18, 2019, in a local health care facility.
She was a member of Ballplay Baptist Church. She was the owner of Cedar Lane Market for 17 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Walter Black and Nora West Black; siblings, Jessie Cates, Clifford Black, Lester Black and Robert Black; children, Ruby Cato, Bobby Hannah, Virginia Jo and B.J. Maynor; and ex-husbands, Millard Hannah and Claude Cooke.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Teena Cato, Dida Maynor and Steve Gatlin, all of Cleveland; great grandchildren, Piper Woody, Hunter Cato, Abby Gatlin and Kate Lawson, all of Cleveland; great great grandchildren, Jesse Cooke and Ellie Young; and several nieces and nephews.
A private graveside will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21, in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Steve Gatlin officiating. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
Her family will receive friends from 12:30–1:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Fike-Randolph and Son Funeral Home prior to the graveside service.
