The City of Collegedale Parks and Recreation department presents retired National Wildlife Ranger Kim DeLozier as itd final Fireside Chat speaker in the winter series on March 1

Mr. DeLozier, author of “Bear in the Backseat” books, will entertain guests with stories from his experiences as a ranger in the Great Smoky Mountains.

Knoxville native and celebrity Jack Hanna said that “Kim DeLozier has seen just about everything when it comes to bear antics...

[he shares] amazing stories… and great pointers about how to safely view animals in the wild.”

The Fireside Chat will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 1, in Founders Hall at The Commons at 4950 Swinyar Drive in Collegedale.

Collegedale will also be participating in World Storytelling Day on March 20th with local personality Richard Garey as he shares a glimpse into the creative mind of Mark Twain. This evening program is sponsored by the Collegedale Tomorrow Foundation and will be at The Commons.
