Latina Professionals of Chattanooga is hosting its second annual Soy Latina: I Am Latina Series with this year’s topic “The Future is Latina”.
The series features influential local Latina professionals in a panel discussion. This type of event is the first of its kind as it features a panel of only Latina women.
The event will take place on Wednesday, March 13, at the Edney Innovation Center on the fifth floor. The panel discussion will feature four influential women that have and continue to impact our communities. Their stories may not be heard often, but these Latinas are breaking barriers and leading the next generation of dynamic female leaders. Hear from Latinas who have carved their own paths in fields like nonprofits, business, banking, education and more. They will talk about their journey and the obstacles of being women in leadership roles, as well as the advantages of having a different perspective in maledominated fields. They even will lend words of wisdom for the next generation.
A list of panelists along with their biographies is available online at www.latinaprofchatt.com.
