Covenant College Theatre Presents Magdalen On March 16

The Covenant College Theatre Department presents Magdalen, written and performed by Erin Layton. It is based on the scandal of the Magdalene Laundries in Ireland, which was run by the nuns of the Good Shepard Order.

Magdalen premiered at the New York International Fringe Festival and played to excellent reviews at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

The show will run at Covenant College on March 16, at 8 p.m.

Allegations Of Sexual Misconduct Continue To Rise At UTC

A new UTC Title IX report on Sexual Misconduct, Relationship Violence and Stalking said reported cases of such incidents among students continues to rise. There were 42 reported cases in 2014 and 56 in 2015. That jumped to 153 in 2016, 192 in 2017 and 221 last year.
