Hospice of Chattanooga Foundation invites the community to Journey 2019: A Night at the Great Pyramids at the Chattanooga Convention Center on Saturday, March 9.
The Egyptian-themed Journey 2019 gala, which starts at 6:30 p.m., marks Hospice of Chattanooga Foundation’s second annual signature fundraiser in support of Kangaroo Kidz, the region’s only pediatric and perinatal hospice and palliative care program for families of infants, children and teens with life-threatening illnesses.
“Journey is such a meaningful way for our community to show its love and support for a program that speaks to the heart of all families - children.
Kangaroo Kidz offers Hospice of Chattanooga the means to lift up those families whose young ones are facing terminal diagnoses in Chattanooga and the surrounding area,” said Tracy Wood, president and CEO of Hospice of Chattanooga.
Journey 2019: A Night at the Pyramids will feature a black tie evening of cocktails, silent and live auctions, four-course dinner, dancing to The Downtown Band and other themed entertainment at the pyramids of ancient Egypt.
Tickets start at $300 and are available now, including individual, patron, VIP and sponsor packages. All proceeds directly fund the Kangaroo Kidz program and services for patients in Chattanooga and the surrounding 18 counties of southeast Tennessee and north Georgia.
Sponsors include Ocoee Professional Pharmacy & Hospice Care, National HME, First Tennessee Foundation, HHM Wealth Advisors, Cyndy & Chuck Schmidt, CHI Memorial, Chambliss Attorneys at Law, Medline, EPB and RBA Employee Benefits Advisors.
Hospice of Chattanooga Foundation has partnered with The Westin Chattanooga and The Marriott Chattanooga to provide a safe evening of fun for everyone, offering discounted night’s lodging for Journey 2019 ticket purchasers.
