$50,000 Powerball Ticket Purchased In Chattanooga

Wednesday night’s Tennessee Lottery drawings produced thousands of winners, including a $50,000 Powerball winner in Chattanooga and a $20,000 Lotto America winner in Covington.

 

The $50,000 Powerball ticket was purchased at Vicky Food Mart, 6800 Shallowford Road in Chattanooga; and the $20,000 Lotto America ticket was purchased at Naifeh’s Covington, 738 Highway 51 N. in Covington.

 

No additional information is available until the prizes are claimed.

Authorities said the condition of a worker who was critically injured at downtown time trials on Friday morning has been upgraded to stable. Jeff Banker, 59, and Byron Evans, 53, sustained injuries and were transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS. Mr. Evans sustained minor injuries and was discharged from the hospital.
