Musicians and music fans alike are invited to a weekly Tuesday Jam Sessions Live beginning at 6 p.m. at The Granfalloon, and featuring FBI Reloaded as the house band. Join them plus any number of other Chattanooga musicians who come to sit in and play the fusion funk of the 60’s and 70’s in a soul-infused dance party.
The “jam” part comes in when musicians of all types bring their own instruments to add to the mix. If you play jazz fusion, soul, funk or dance music, you are invited to be a part of the band on any given song.
Led by Freddy Mc, FBI Reloaded will set the scene by playing tunes from some of the ‘70’s icons, such as Stevie Wonder, Gap Band, Sly and the Family Stone, among many others. Freddy is a veteran guitar player who has appeared on the Tonight Show and played with musicians such as T-Bone Burnett as well as scoring composition on the “Lady Killers” movie sound track.
“The Jam Sessions Live program helps bring back the amazing music culture of the city, now on the happening strip of Main Street," said Freddy. "I want to call musicians of all types and ages to come rock with FBI every Tuesday in the welcoming and arts-styled venue of The Granfalloon, a space were everyone can feel comfortable, since it’s not a bar setting.”
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. at 400 E Main St., and the show begins at 6 p.m. Admission is $5.
This show is for music lovers of all ages—enjoy it as a spectator, a dancer, or a musician or vocalist who wants to sit in with the band.
