Margaret Louise Dill, 91, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 22, 2019, surrounded by loving family.

She was a member of Maple Grove Baptist and retired from Buster Brown after more than 30 years.  She loved quilting and made beautiful hand-stitched quilts. She had such a cheerful personality and a wonderful sense of humor. If there was anything that could be said of Margaret, it was that she was very giving and always put others before herself. She will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Floyd “Josh” Dill; parents, Paul and Pauline Jordan and siblings, Edwin, Virginia and James.

Margaret is survived by sisters, Frances E. Jordan and Joyce Lawson; nieces, Shirley Farley, Sandra (Richard) Prewitt, Sue (Mike) Ransom and Debbie Ford; nephews, Eddie Johnson and Johnny Johnson.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, Feb. 28, from 4-7 p.m. in the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home.

There will also be a visitation on Friday, March 1, from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral at 1 p.m. with Pastor Ronnie Dotson officiating in the Turner Funeral Home Chapel.  Mrs. Dill will be laid to rest in Ooltewah Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Turner Funeral Home, Highway 58 Chapel, 423 622-3171.
