Charles Oliver
Charles Edwin Oliver, 86, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at his home.
He was a member of Eastside Church of Christ and a well known electrician. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Ratcliff Oliver; parents, Columbus Monroe Oliver and Maude Eslinger Oliver and brother, Carl Wayne Oliver.
He is survived by his wife, Gertrude Oliver of Cleveland; five step-children, Janet Manley (Mike) of Aniston, AL, Myrna Griffin (Rob) of Portland, OR, Jim Daniel of Trenton, GA, Jack Daniel (Sharon) of Crossville and J.R. Daniel (Deb) of Georgetown; sisters, Esta Mae Jones and Pauline Oliver, both of Cleveland; special friends, Jr. Cole and Olan Bennett; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 11, in the chapel of Fike-Randolph and Son Funeral Home with Minister Jeff Archey officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery with military honors.
The family will receive friends from 2–4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10, at the funeral home.
