On Tuesday, March 12 at 10:30 a.m., two brand new convection ranges will be delivered to The Salvation Army of Cleveland. This donation, made possible by Whirlpool-Cleveland Manufacturing, will enable The Salvation Army to serve over 800 weekly meals to neighbors in need.
“Having efficient ovens and equipment will allow us to serve meals to those who are hungry in our area,” said Sergeant Ruthie Forgey, Cleveland Corps administrator. “We are so fortunate and grateful for our partnership with Whirlpool, for caring about the people who live in our community.”
The Salvation Army of Cleveland provides weekly for dinner on Mondays, lunch on Saturdays and breakfast and dinner on Sundays. "Average weekly meals total over 800, thanks to the generosity of our community," officials said.
