Cordell, Dorothy "Dot"

Dorothy “Dot” Cordell, 93, of Rossville, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019. She was a member of Peoples Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Cordell; parents, Dewey and Eunice Burris; sisters, Helen Blaylock and Hilda Rhea Burris; and brothers, James, Clyde and Earl Burris. 

Survivors include her sister, Ruby Oxford and several nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 15 at noon in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Richard Foster officiating. Entombment will follow in the Calvary Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-7 p.m.
