Alexes Jackson transitioned to heaven on March 7, 2019, at her residence surrounded by her loving family at the age of 30. 

Alexes was born and raised in Chattanooga, and attended the Orange Grove Center where she learned to become independent with minor activities. 

Alexes will be forever remembered by her mother Ada Jackson; grandmother, Betty Jackson; great aunt/caregiver, Maggie Pickett and a host of great uncles and great aunts, cousins and dear friends. 

The family would like to thank Orange Grove Center, personal caregiver Laylona Chatman, and Hospice of Chattanooga for their love and support during Alexes life. 

The body will lie in state from 12–8:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home. 

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 17, at 2 p.m. at Highland Memorial Gardens.

Motorist Who Felt He Got "Cut Off" Led To Road Rage Brawl On I-24

A motorist who felt he got "cut off" by a vehicle entering I-24 in Brainerd wound up getting in a road rage brawl with the other motorist near the Fourth Avenue Exit on Friday.
