Southern Adventist University announces Holocaust survivor Eva Kor will be on campus for an inspirational talk on Thursday, March 28, at 11 a.m. in the Iles P.E. Center.
"During World War II, Kor and her twin sister, Miriam, were subjected to deadly experimentation by Josef Mengele at the Auschwitz concentration camp. Both women suffered long-term effects, yet Kor chose to forgive those who caused her so much pain," officials said. "Kor’s story has been featured in numerous ways, including the popular young adult book titled Surviving the Angel of Death: The True Story of a Mengele Twin in Auschwitz and the award-winning film Forgiving Dr. Mengele. Today she continues to inspire audiences as she shares her story."
This event is free and open to the public.
