Johnny Pless “J.P." Burton, 64, of LaFayette passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019.

He is survived by his sister, Betty (Larry) Tatuam of East Brainerd; brother, James Burton of LaFayette; nieces, Lacy (Zach) Davis of Summerville and Amanda Adams of Summerville; great nieces, Landon Ivey, Kalei McNair, Ty DeBerry, Zoey McNair, and Cyla DeBerry.

A Celebration of Life will be held at noon on Saturday, March 16th at Gordon Lake Wesleyan Church with Pastor Ashley Mew officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral, LaFayette.
