Jimmy Ray Grayson, 63, entered into rest on March 10, 2019.

Mr. Grayson was a native of Whitwell, Tn., having made Jackson his home for the past four years.  He was a retired heavy equipment operator with the Operating Engineers Union Local #917. 

Mr. Grayson was predeceased by his wife, Lori Starnes Grayson, and his father, Bill Ray Grayson.

Survivors include his mother, Grace Key Grayson, Whitwell, Tn.; a brother, Wayne Grayson, Whitwell, Tn.; and a nephew, Cole Grayson, Whitwell, Tn. 

Visitation will be Friday, March 15, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. CDT under the direction of Tate Funeral Home. The service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home and be officiated by Brother Freddy Clayton. 

Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Garden, Jasper, Tn.
