Aries Leon Kight, 91, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019.
Rev. Kight was a pastor and devoted to the ministry for 65 years.
He was preceded in death by his devoted, loving wife Louise Kight; parents, Blake and Emma Kight; siblings, Veda Roberts, Ewell Kight, Hazel Burkhalter and Annis Stiefel.
Rev. Kight is survived by his 96-year old sister, Helen Elwell of Maine; three daughters: Alta Peden (Terry), Brenda White (Steve), Linda Kilgore (Sonny); 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 15, from 5–8 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace, and Saturday, March 16, from 1–2 p.m. at First Bible Methodist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the First Bible Methodist Church, 2205 East 36th Street, Chattanooga, Tn. 37407.
Interment will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.
