Upcoming Street Closings Announced

Here are upcoming street closings:
North Access Road at Fairfax Drive will be closed on Saturday, March 16, from 8AM to 3PM for work on the gas line installation project. 

Beginning on Monday, March 18, gas line work will commence on N Access Road between Fairfax Drive and Memphis Drive. This work will require the closure of the right eastbound lane until work is completed.
Additionally, the second eastbound lane will be closed from 8AM until 3PM on Monday, March 18th through Friday, March 22.


On Monday, March 18, paving work will be done Hixon Pike from Ashland Terrace to Fairfax Drive. This work will be done two lanes at a time, maintaining two-way traffic. Please drive with caution.

The eastbound lane of Wilcox Blvd. will be closed between Bradt St and Dodson Street on Monday, March 18 until Friday, March 22. The southbound lane of Dodson Ave. will then be closed from Wilcox Blvd. to Wilson Street on Monday, March 25 until Friday, March 29 for work on the Avondale YFD. 

Weather permitting, Curtain Pole Road, Webb Road, and Wilson Street will be resurfaced Monday, March 18th through Friday, March 22. The right, southbound lane of Amnicola Highway will be closed from Curtain Pole Road to Old Curtain Pole road from 9AM until 4PM from Monday, March 18 through Friday, March 22, while Curtain Pole Road is being resurfaced.
