So please, tell me how we’re supposed to take this? Is this the “government gun” that I hear mentioned repeatedly? Because it sort of sounds like our President considers law enforcement and the military and a group of bikers his very own “muscle.”
I don’t think I’ve heard a statement in my 62 years that gives me this much pause. Our LE communities and veterans’ communities are not pawns to be used to threaten the rest of us with. And I don’t believe they would go along with this, I know the veteran I live with was as livid as I was when he heard this.
We can pray all you want and hold hands and play Kumbaya – but until this kind of thuggish talk stops I don’t think much will be accomplished. At this point in time the GOP needs to own this and get it stopped. Because this President seems to love the things that I thought the old GOP abhorred.
