Fire Destroys Home On Walden's Ridge In Sequatchie County

Fire destroyed a home across the line in Sequatchie County on Walden's Ridge on Sunday night.

At 8:15 p.m., a 911 call was made by the homeowner reporting a house fire located at 508 Grayson Way. Lone Oak Volunteer Fire Department responded and arrived on the scene reported fire through the roof. Walden’s Ridge Emergency Services responded for automatic Mutual Aid.

Lone Oak VFD Chief Dana Clift reported the home is a total loss. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is undetermined and will be under investigation by the Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office.

The American Red Cross will be assisting the family with their emergency needs.
