Glenda Brown
Glenda Louise Brown, 73, of Old Fort, went home to be with the Lord on March 16, 2019 at her residence.
Glenda was known to most as simply, “Mamaw.” She was an active member of Shady Springs Baptist Church. She was a giving and caring person that above all loved spending time with her loved ones and her “fur baby” Mag. E.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, her mother Mattie Sluder and father Roy Dunn.
She is survived by her three children, Mitchell Wilson of Old Fort, Michelle Wilson of Old Fort and Rodney Wilson and his wife Jayme of Cleveland; grandchildren: Riley, Karter, Lilly, Gatlyn, Mandy, Mark, Nathan, Allison, Justin, Dylan, Kevin, Jesse, Roy, and Hope; great grandchildren: Riley, Kiley, Addy, Kimber, Lane, Haiden, Kamron, Kyler, Haley, Molly, Kara, Charleigh, and Conner. In addition to these, she leaves behind a very special friend Clinton Wilcoxon.
The family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, at Shady Springs Baptist Church in Old Fort, Tn. A celebration of life service will follow the visitation at 5 p.m. Interment will immediately follow the service at Shed Cemetery.
