Baylor Swim Club To Send 18 Athletes To 2019 National Club Swimming Association Junior National Championships

The Baylor Swim Club will send 18 athletes to compete in the 2019 National Club Swimming Association (NCSA) Junior National Championships to be held March 19-23 at the Orlando YMCA Aquatic Center in Orlando.

This is one of the top swimming competitions in the country on an annual basis for swimmers 18 years old and under.

Representing Baylor Swim Club will be Noah Althoff, Alex Borisov, Heidi Dierig, Jewel Gordon, Sarah Hollowell, Zach Kangeiser, Jack Kirby, Jamee Mitchum, Cecilia Porter, Aidan Sims, Daniel Snyder, Addison Smith, Will Tippett, Daniel Unhuryan, Ellie Waldrep, Callie West, Avery Wilson and Dallas Woods.

There are over 1,700 swimmers in the meet representing over 250 clubs from all over the nation. This will be the 12h year in a row that Baylor Swim Club will send athletes to this competition. Baylor has placed in the top ten in three of those years, placing 4th in 2008, 3rd in 2009, 7th in 2011, 8th in 2012, 13th in 2013, the boy’s team finished 4th in 2014, and 5th in 2017. 

Eighteen athletes are also the largest contingent of Baylor Swim Club athletes to qualify and compete in this meet.
