Geraldine Taylor, 89, of Flintstone, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 19, 2019. She was of the Baptist faith, and was retired from the textile industry, after several years of service.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, David Taylor; brother, Thurman Floyd; and sister, Mary Trammel.
She is survived by her sons, Clarence Taylor, of Flintstone and David Taylor, Jr., of Piedmont, Al.; daughter, Marie Romans, of Lafayette; four grandchildren, Allen Taylor, Jeff Sparks, Matthew Romans and Ashley Romans; six great-grandchildren, Cory Taylor, Chloe Taylor, Kate Romans, Eli Romans, Rusty Sparks and Shelby Robertson; great-great-grandchild Kanon Robertson; and sister, Jeanette Broome.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
