UTC's 1st Sorority Celebrates 100 Years

Chi Omega, the first sorority at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, is celebrating its 100th birthday with activities this coming weekend, March 22-23, in the Westin hotel downtown. See event details here.
 
The sorority also is in the process of raising $1.5 million to build a new chapter house at 515 O’Neal St., adjacent to UTC’s intramural fields. Fundraising is currently at $250,000, and construction can begin when it reaches $750,000. Spring 2020 is the groundbreaking target. See artist renderings of the house here.
