UTC Women Tied For Fourth At Hawkeye El Tigre Golf Invitational

The Chattanooga Mocs women’s golf team moved up into a tie for fourth with 18 holes to play in the Hawkeye El Tigre Invitational. The Mocs shot 298 today for a two-day total of 600. 

That 600 is tied with Idaho. The duo is a mere two shots behind Tennessee in third at 598. Today’s 298 was the third-best number in Friday’s second round.

Monica San Juan paced the squad with a level-par 72 on day two. Esme Hamilton chipped in 73 with Maddy McDanel’s 75 right behind her. Kirsty Beckwith and Rheagan Hall each totaled 78.

10 Arizona is the leader at 572. Fresno State stands in second at 592. The Wildcats Bianca Pagdanganan leads individually at 4-under 140. San Juan is in a group tied for fifth at 1 over.

Chattanooga returns to the tee at 2 p.m., Eastern time, for Saturday’s final 18. The ladies start on No. 1 paired again with Idaho and Kennesaw State. Links to today’s results, live scoring and parings are above.
