Ronald Edward Green, 75, of LaFayette, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019.

He was a passionate sports fan who loved the Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Braves, and the Boston Celtics. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Lillie Green; sisters, Zula Thomas and Nannie Tracy; brothers, Delmar Green, Steve Green, and Charles Green; and nephews, Ernie and Gary Tracy.

He is survived by his sister, Gloria Clarkson of Chickamauga; brother, Jim Green of LaFayette; sister-in-law, Roberta Green of Chickamauga; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Brother David Thompson officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until hour of service.

Interment will be at Naomi Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Mike Green, Eric Green, Greg Ramey, Chris Ramey, Boyd Green, and Brian Green.

Honorary pallbearers are Jeff Green, Clay Tracy, Buddy Green, Gary Keith, James Lundy, Jordan Ramey, and Jared Ramey.

Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
