Stein, Thaddeus Adam

Thaddeus Adam Stein, 89, of Chattanooga, formerly of Sauk Village, Il., went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, March 24, 2019, following a brief illness.

Thad retired from Ford Motor Company’s Chicago Heights Stamping Plant following 37 years of service, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean conflict. Mr. Stein was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Sauk Village, Il. and St. Stephens Catholic Church in Chattanooga.

Mr. Stein is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Betty Rose (Sabo) Stein; daughter, Mickie (Michael) Donnelly, of Chattanooga; grandson, Mike (Karina) Donnelly, of Ringgold; and four great-grandchildren, Diana, Alex, Izzy and Sierra.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 28 at 10 a.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. with a Rosary Service beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton.
