William Weathers
William Olin Weathers, 69, a resident of Cleveland, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Saturday in a local hospital.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Viola Rymer, his daughter and his brothers and sister.
William was a former employee with NASA in Houston Texas and worked at Wholesale Supply in Cleveland. He was a member of Freewill Church of God.
He is survived by his wife Lena Mae Weathers, his step son Jimmy Dean Gray and his step daughter Anna Marie Gray, two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, his brothers, Troy Weathers, James Crisp and Frank Weathers, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life Service will be held on Thursday, March 28, at 1 p.m. at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Ave. Chapel with Pastor Jesse Millsaps and Reverend Chris Stokes officiating.
The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as casket bearers.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 27, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
