Carol Oliver
Carol Oliver, age 78, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Monday, March 25, 2019 at Erlanger Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Hill and Lucy Broadrick Johnston; brother, Terry Johnston; step-son, Jeff Oliver and step-daughter, Katina Oliver; step-mother, Edith R. Johnston; and step-brothers, Fred and Bill Raines.
Carol was a member of Grove Level Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Oliver of the residence; one daughter, Suzanne Arnold of Dalton; one step-son, Steve Oliver of Dalton; three grandchildren, Hailey Delatorre, Ryan Robbs and Jared (Jessica) Oliver; great-grandchildren, Ava Robbs, Jenna and Sal Delatorre and Mason Oliver; sister-in-law, Dolly P Johnston; step-sisters-in-law, Joyce Raines and Barbara Raines, both of Ringgold; and several nieces, nephews and cousins, also, many special friends.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, March 28, at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Dr. Charlie Bridges officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, March 28, from noon until the service hour at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Grove Level Cemetery.
