La Paz Chattanooga Creates Monthly Giving Membership Program

  • Tuesday, March 26, 2019

La Paz Chattanooga has created a monthly giving membership program to promote community within its local donor base.

The program, titled ‘La Fuente’ meaning ‘the fountain/source’ encourages members to donate to the organization on a monthly basis rather than once a year, in order to create a culture of sustainability for both the membership base as well as the organization.

“Our donors are the moving force behind La Paz,” said Stacy Johnson, executive director. “We wanted to provide a way for everyone to give, feel the importance of their donation and understand their impact.”

Members can choose from a variety of amounts that fund different programs and objectives for the organization to include: networking and professional development opportunities for Latinx entrepreneurs; ESL classes for the community; cultural and language exchange programs; immediate relief supplies such as pantry items and toiletries; and educational materials for community members.

Apart from the satisfaction of supporting the mission of La Paz Chattanooga, La Fuente members receive the following benefits:

  • Monthly communication and updates on programs they support
  • Recognition in La Paz’s annual publication(s) as La Fuente members
  • Invitations to exclusive donors-only events
  • A copy of La Paz’s annual Líderes magazine delivered to their door
  • A welcome package including membership sticker and organization materials
