Major League Fishing's Bass Pro Tour At Chickamauga Lake Begins April 9

Beginning April 9, 80 of the world’s top professional bass anglers will compete on nearby Chickamauga Lake in Rhea County for the fourth stage of Major League Fishing’s Bass Pro Tour season.

Nine area Tennesseans – Brandon Coulter (Knoxville), 2019 Bassmaster Classic Champion Ott DeFoe (Knoxville), Jason Lambert (Michie), Andy Morgan (Dayton) John Murray (Spring City) Michael Neal (Dayton) Wesley Strader (Spring City) David Walker (Sevierville) and Jacob Wheeler (Harrison) – will compete in the event that will pay $100,000 to the winner.

The new real-time format features seven hours of live streaming, in-the-boat coverage and analysis from on- and off-the-water commentators.The Bass Pro Tour features a conservation-focused, catch-weigh-release format that will set a new standard for tournament fishing and is focused on creating a platform for future generations.
