Tevin Ryan Brack, 46, of Chickamauga, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019. He was born in Great Bend, Ks. and resided his childhood in Peachtree City, Ga. He was a graduate of McIntosh High School – Class of 1992. He enjoyed playing football and wrestling in high school for the Chiefs. He enjoyed watching college football and was a fan of the Kansas Jayhawks and Tennessee Volunteers. He attended Jacksonville State and Valdosta State Colleges. He was a recent graduate of Culinary School from Virginia College and had just started enjoying working as a chef. He was a former employee of Chattanooga Shooting Supplies for sixteen years. Tevin enjoyed hunting, fishing and had a passion for grilling for his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Marvin & Thelma Bender Brack and Bill & Ella Bridgeman Going; and adoptive grandfather, Hubert Bender.
Tevin is survived by the joy of his life, son, Kason Allen Brack, of Chickamauga; parents, Marvin & Marla Going Brack, of Fort Oglethorpe; sister, Sheri Brack Wilson; nieces, Cailey (fiancee, Barret Sinclair), Hallie and Kheley Wilson; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday morning an hour prior to the service. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 9 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel, with Pastor Joel Southerland officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kason's College Fund at any Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union branch.
