Wanda Sue Wilson, age 72, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Friday, April 12, 2019 at a local hospital.
She was born April 23, 1946 in Dalton, a daughter of the late Truman and Mattie Jane Bridges. She was also preceded in death by her son, Roy Lee Silvers; brothers, Ronnie Bridges and Roy Bridges; and sister, Ellen Richards.
She is survived by her son, Ricky Edward Silvers Jr.; daughters and son-in-law, Tammy and Mark Bell, Teresa Moree, all of Dalton, Ga.; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Johnny Rangel of Augusta, Ga.; grandchildren, Michael and Cassie Grigsby, Chris Locke and Haeliegh Carroll, Nathan and Tori Moree, Justin Moree; and five great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate the life of Wanda Sue Wilson will be held Wednesday, April 17, at 2 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Darrin Locke officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17.
