Animal Emergency And Specialty Center Hires Board-Certified Surgeon

Animal Emergency & Specialty Center announces Jessica Leeman-Goepp, DVM, DACVS-SA has been added to the surgical staff at their Chattanooga location.
 
"With the addition of a board-certified surgeon to our extensive Animal Emergency & Specialty Center team, Animal Emergency & Specialty Center is able to provide 24/7 access to a board-certified surgeon for complex and critical surgical cases," officials said.
 
Dr. Leeman-Goepp hails from the west coast of Florida and went to veterinary school at the University of Florida. She then went on to complete a small animal internship at Louisiana State University and small animal surgery residency at Seattle Veterinary specialists in Washington. She became board certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2017.

Upon completion of her residency, Dr. Leeman-Goepp worked emergency and surgery at Seattle Veterinary Specialists for almost three additional years while becoming a mom to two boys. She also served as the Surgery Internship director during the last two years of her employment and contributed to veterinary literature.

Dr. Leeman-Goepp said she loves teaching and remains active in her community by providing CE to local veterinarians and their staff. Her areas of interest include challenging soft tissue cases and surgical emergencies.
