A storage shed fire caused damage to a neighboring house on Monday afternoon.

Chattanooga firefighters from E15, E4, S13, Q10, Q6, and Battalion 2, 3 and Car 44 responded at 4:15 p.m. to a possible house fire at 3505 Hillwood Drive.

E15 arrived on the scene and advised that a storage shed in the rear of the structure had a fire on 60 percent of the structure.

Supply lines were used and the fire was under control in 20 minutes.

While extinguishing the shed, fire embers from the shed ignited some roofing and void space on the neighbor's house and additional apparatus was dispatched to combat the second fire which was brought under control quickly.

There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
