Donald Martin Sanders, 85, of LaFayette, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019.
He was a retired veteran of the U.S Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jodie Sanders; daughter, Robin Sanders; and son, Roy Sanders.
He is survived by his daughters, Donna (Ed) Strini of Ooltewah, and Michelle (Curtis) Bardwell of Rome; son, Ricky Martin Sanders of Knoxville; grandchildren, Megan Kantelis, Sydney Bardwell, Samantha Alley, Stephanie Nappier, Angela Reeves, Christopher Moreland, David Lawson, and Daniel Lawson; sister, Donnis Mealer of LaFayette; brother, Vernon (Sarah) Howard of LaFayette; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service with full military honors will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, at LaFayette Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held prior to the service from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Members of the U.S. Air Force will serve as pallbearers.
