Qurayshawn Lebron Byrdsong Injured After He Fires At Chattanooga Police; He Is Hit By Return Fire In Incident On Cleveland Avenue

He is still being treated for his injuries at a local hospital.

Upon his release, he will face the following charges: three counts of attempted first degree murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, unlawful possession of a firearm, and felony reckless endangerment. 

Chattanooga Police officer was involved, the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office was called in to investigate. The responding officers were placed on administrative leave under department policy until the investigation is complete.

The incident occurred after police were dispatched to 2000 Cleveland Avenue.
