The Chattanooga Lookouts allowed two runs in the seventh inning to give the Mississippi Braves the lead and the eventual 5-3 victory.

The M-Braves (5-5) collected six doubles, including a pair from Daniel Lockhart, son of Keith Lockhart - a member of the Lookouts' 1988 SL championship team, on Tuesday and won their second straight over Chattanooga.

Mississippi put 11 hits on the board and have tallied 24 through the first two games of the series.

Before the fateful seventh inning the Lookouts had a two-run lead over Mississippi. Chattanooga scored their first run in the third inning on a Taylor Trammell RBI double. Trammell's double to right-center scored Narciso Crook. A relay started by Cristian Pache in center cut down Trammell at third to end in the inning. The outfielder now has a five-game hitting streak at home and is hitting .343 this season.

In the fourth they increased their lead to two. Ibandel Isabel started the inning for Chattanooga (4-6) with a double and moved to third on a groundout. An error by Braves' second baseman Alejandro Salazar  allowed Isabel to score the Lookouts led 2-0.

The visitors surged ahead in the fifth on a barrage of doubles. Mississippi's inning began with three straight hits. Jonathan Morales notched his fourth double of the year and then moved to third on a single from Connor Lien. Lockhart lined a double to the gap in right-center scoring Morales and Lien to tie the game at 2-2.

With two outs, Cristian Pache smashed a double down the left field line to bring home Lockhart and the Braves led 3-2. The double was Pache's fifth on the season and extended his hitting streak to seven games.

Jonathan Aro  (W, 1-0) relieved Davidson. Down one, Ibandel Isabel smashed a home run over the center field wall to tied the game up at three.

In the seventh, Mississippi responded again and took the lead back. Lockhart cracked his second double of the night to open the inning and then scored on a three-base error off the bat of Pache. The 106 mph ground ball got through third baseman Gavin LaValley's legs and was scored an error. Luis Valenzuela brought in Pache with a double to right-center and extended the lead to 5-3

Tucker Davidson, Atlanta's 19th round selection in 2016 went 5.0 innings and scattered five hits, giving up just one earned run while walking one and striking out seven.

 Box Score

Wednesday evening, RHP Tejay Antone (1-0, 4.09) looks to give the Lookouts their first win of the series as he takes the mound against Atlanta's highly touted prospect, 20-year old RHP Ian Anderson (0-0, 2.34)
