"Celebration Of The Victory In Jesus Christ" Offered At Middle Valley Church Of God On Sunday

Middle Valley Church of God, at 1703 Thrasher Pike in Hixson, announced that Pastor Mitch McClure will lead a "Celebration of the Victory in Jesus Christ" on Sunday, April 21, at 10:30 a.m. 

The celebration will include a specially selected gift for all in attendance, special music from the church choir and a special message, "He Finally Got Us The Victory" by Pastor Mitch McClure. This celebration is a result of the victory brought to all Believers through the life, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  All are encouraged to attend this celebration.

Interactive Bible study is available each Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. in the administrative classroom. Presently, Senior Adult Pastor Craig Paul is leading a study on the Book of Mark.

Middle Valley Church of God has been involved in community from the same location since 1946 and continues to partner with many local organizations. The church also is involved in multiple ministries in Cusuna, Honduras with orphans and widows.  

All services are open to the public and everyone is welcome to participate.

Man, 44, Stabbed To Death On East Main Street

Chattanooga Police said a 44-year-old man died after being stabbed in the 1200 block of East Main Street around midnight Thursday. Upon arrival, officers located a man suffering from a stab wound.
